What we consider "Safe Fragrance" is any Synthetic Fragrance without Ingredients that are listed as Carcinogenic or Mutagenic. All Fragrances and Essential oils have a "Safety Data Sheet" that lists the warnings (in basic terms) and we make sure to use Fragrances with only a Skin Contact Warning to our best knowledge and Last Readout.

Most, if not all Essential Oil SDS documents contain a Health Hazard Pictogram, i.e., suspected carcinogen, mutagenicity, reproductive toxicity, respiratory sensitizer, organ toxicity, or aspiration toxicity. A Flame Pictogram is also present which is why the Oil percentage must remain low, resulting in a less fragrant experience to avoid a fire hazard.

All of the fragrances we use Do Not contain this Health Hazard Pictogram and only include a Skin and Eye Contact Warning and Environment Warning: That is only important if you are handling the wax or disposing of the candle improperly, which we hope and are confident that you aren't.

Essential oils are natural but they still contain natural VOC's, terpenes, and natural chemical makeups that are harmful to some individuals. We source our fragrances from distributors that are up to date with IFRA and RFIM standards. The fragrances are thoroughly formulated to omit most allergens and hormonal toxins known currently. Science and Fragrance have not grown apart with time: We follow the data and are extremely confident that they are not more harmful than Essential Oils.

Ultimately, we do not believe they are completely dangerous and know that everything should be experienced in moderation and with the correct knowledge. Essential Oils DO have their benefits through aromatherapy and that is something fragrance does not provide.

While we trust all of our customer's to know and discern what is right for their body, we still want to provide as much information possible to avoid an unenjoyable experience: We use Eucalyptus, Copaiba, Palo Santo, and Sandalwood Oil and do not recommend "Nature's Man" or "Grounded" for Pet Owners, Pregnant Women/Mother's with infants or children, and individuals with Respiratory Issues.
